As many of you know, Hurricane Florence barreled through Wilmington, NC and devastated many homes and business. One of the people who lost her home, her studio, as well as tons of yarn and personal items is our dear friend and designer Mary Beth Temple from Hooked for Life. She has found a place to live, but still needs to replace everything she lost.
We were about to introduce our new line of handmade gourmet chocolates when the hurricane struck, so we have decided to donate all the 2018 profits from the sale of these yummy treats to Mary Beth's Go Fund Me and any profits after that to Peggy Baddour, owner of The Salty Sheep, who lost both her home and her yarn shop. She and her family are working hard to get up and running again. She has already found a new location for the shop, that’s how determined she is to rebuild.
We will have plenty of boxes (about 1/4 pounds each - 18 balls for only $4!) of these amazingly tasty milk chocolates at our upcoming show in Virginia this weekend. We'll even have some samples out for you to try. We hope you will like them and help out some great folks from our community who have been hurt by Hurricane Florence.
Love,
Bead Biz
